Our Wedding Anniversary

July 24, 2004 Bill and I were married. It doesn't seem like its been four years. Everyone says your first year of marriage is the hardest. We got married, bought a house and started our six months of paper work to adopt Leah. That was putting a lot on our plate for our first year but somehow it all worked out. People are surprised that we weren't married a year when we started our paper work to adopt Leah (even our social worker was surprised and I thought nothing surprised them). The new rules of Chinese adoption state you must be married two years before starting the adoption process. We are so thankful the rules were different then because we can not imagine life without our little Princess.
